I present you the Musa Florida variegated! This variegated banana tree is extremely sought after plant.
With one look it's obvious to see why people obsess over them. This banana tree require a lot of light! I grow these outside in shade (Tons of bright indirect light with a couple hours of early morning and evening direct sun) in the New Orleans heat and humidity.
Please do your research before buying one of these! Keep in mind, despite what you may see on Instagram this is a BANANA TREE that can reach upwards of 12'! They also require very special attention and care if grown inside in order to survive and not rot. I DO NOT recommend keeping these inside. They can be fine and out of no where over night completely melt away. It happens I promise. They need to be grown outside in a tropical environment to really thrive. Again please research this. By purchasing this you are accepting this risk. We inspect every plant and don’t ship unless they are healthy and pest free but this rot still happens with variegated Musa.
Banana trees do not ship well! I strongly strongly strongly recommend one day shipping for these if it is not a local pickup. If any shipping less than one day is selected, I cannot be held responsible for any damage occurred in shipping. Even with one day shipping the plant will need recovery time to bounce back. this is usually one to two weeks.
