The String of Bananas needs lots of light to flourish. Place near a window that will give it plenty of sun all day long. A South facing window is optimal and be sure to rotate regularly.
Plant in an organic succulent and cactus mix that provides good drainage. Use a container size that is one inch larger than the plant. Repotting should be done in the spring every two years. Be sure not to plant farther than one inch in the soil to avoid stem rot.
