Philodendron pastazanum is a very rare and extremely beautiful heartshaped Philodendron. It originates from Ecuador from a state called Pastaza where it was collected in the 70’s.
These plants require medium to bright indirect light. If acclimated to it they can take a few hours of direct sunlight in the morning.
Water when the soil is slightly dry. A good rule of thumb is once a week. However, the amount of watering needed per week will depend on many different factors in your home. Be careful to not overwater these plants as they will not appreciate staying wet for too long. Make also sure to not let the soil dry out completely.
