Alocasia Dragon Scale, formally named Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’, has an incredible, veined texture that, imaginatively, can be said to resemble dragon scales. The leaves play their part: they are tough and pliable, and even have a hardened topside.
***If you have an animal that likes to eat plants then keep this one in a place where they won't get to it! Alocasia can cause mouth watering and GI problems for pets***
Thrives in bright, well-lit conditions, however direct sunlight should be avoided as it will scorch the leaves.
The Alocasia's soil should be kept moist with warm water. Do not allow the soil to overly dry-out but be wary not to overwater. Little and often is a good approach.
Requires an environment with above average humidity. Mist frequently for best results. If it needs a boost, pop it near the shower or in the kitchen for a while.
These plants are in 3” pots. The plant pictured is the exact plant you will receive.
